What does this mean?

The first commandment is to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and strength.  The second is to love our neighbor as ourselves.  We love God first and because of this He frees us to love and forgive people beyond our own human ability.  We do not confuse our love for man with our love for God, seeking Him first and building His kingdom on Earth. He empowers us to love even those who despise us and do wrong.

Jesus is the Word (Logos) made flesh and we follow Him in His obedience to the Father, even to the cross. Our faith is in God alone, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one Holy Trinity. He reveals Himself to us personally through Scripture by the Holy Spirit. His word holds all things together and we can experience Him and be in relationship with Him every moment of every day. Camp of the Bride Church is a discipleship-minded church model which seeks to build mega-people before building mega-churches. We want to bless the already wonderful communities of South Side and The Cedars areas of Downtown by offering a Christian community and network here locally.
